WCAGScans (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted accessibility scanner (“Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
What we collect
- Account: Email address for magic-link sign-in.
- Usage: URLs you scan, plan/usage counters, and timestamps.
- Technical: IP address (rate-limit & abuse prevention), cookies strictly necessary for session (“sid”).
How we use data
- Authenticate you and enforce plan limits.
- Deliver the Service (generate reports, optional saved reports on Pro).
- Prevent abuse and maintain security.
- Send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, account notices). No marketing emails without consent.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for session authentication and rate limits. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Subprocessors
- Cloudflare (hosting, D1 DB, KV, security/CDN)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Stripe (payments; if you purchase Pro)
- OpenAI (model inference to generate grounded findings)
- Renderer (optional Deep Render HTML service, Pro feature)
Retention
- Session cookie lives up to 30 days.
- Usage counters reset weekly (Free) / monthly (Pro).
- Saved reports (Pro) persist until you delete them (email us to remove).
- Server logs/IPs for abuse control are kept for a limited time and then purged.
International transfers
Data may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our subprocessors operate. We use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
